About Skaimsberg — a farm and a place to stay in Aurland

Skaimsberg is a small, active farm in the Aurlandsdalen valley in western Norway, just a few minutes' drive from Flåm and the Aurlandsfjord. The farm is run by Magne and his family, who look after the orchard, the bees and the holiday apartments that sit right beside the fruit trees. The apartments were added so that visitors could experience the quiet rhythm of a working Norwegian farmstead — and use it as a base for exploring the fjords, mountains and villages of inner Sogn.

We rent out four self-catering apartments of 75 m², each with three bedrooms, a full kitchen and its own entrance. They suit couples, families and small groups who want to slow down: pick strawberries in the tunnel next to the house, taste the honey from our own hives, walk the historic Aurlandsdalen trail from the door, or take the short drive down to Flåm for the railway and fjord cruises. There is free parking on the property, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating, and a garden and sun terrace open to all guests.

Skaimsberg is built and maintained by the family that lives here, with help from the Base44 platform that hosts the booking pages, the in-house guest portal and the farm shop.
